QOTD ENGINE: ONLINE

The Question of the Day (QOTD) system drives community discussion by scheduling daily prompts, managing user suggestions, and automatically creating dedicated answer threads.

Automation & Engagement

Scheduled Dispatch: Prompts are fetched from a secure local database library and published daily to your community discussion channels at a preconfigured time (e.g. 10:00 AM PT).

Thread Isolation: To prevent main chat channels from cluttering, Cheesingway automatically initiates a public sub-thread for each daily question, containment-hosting all member discussion.

Anonymous Suggestions: Members can submit prompt ideas via slash commands. Submitted prompts are stored in a pending queue for administrator review.

Audit & Moderation

Staff can review, approve, reject, or edit submitted suggestions through private command menus, maintaining full control over the published content rotation.
